About Release Threads

Release Threads creates limited streetwear capsules with people returning home from incarceration. Each maker helps shape the garments and controls how their story is told.

The Drop

Every release is a focused collection of three to five made-to-order pieces. Garments carry the release date and a numbered tag, keeping the edition finite without producing unwanted inventory.

The Story Belongs to the Maker

Behind-the-scenes design work, walk-out footage, and milestone updates are created only with informed consent and any required corrections-department clearance. Makers decide what is shared, how it is framed, and when it is time to stop sharing.

A Transparent Split

A published share of every sale goes directly to the maker. We believe support should be specific, visible, and accountable—not hidden behind broad impact language.

Built to Be Worn

The mission matters, but the product has to stand on its own. Release Threads is streetwear first: considered silhouettes, limited editions, and pieces designed to stay in rotation.
